A new brand and game world of Christian faith and fun

The Client

Kingdom Scene is a company seeking to encourage hope and purpose into kids’ lives using fun and games. Based in the US, but with global reach, they launch Christian faith-based products for kids and families.

The Brief

To create a new Christian brand to engage and inspire kids that encompasses an interactive virtual world and gaming platform, and which provides ongoing content to encourage meaningful conversations about Biblical faith and values.

The Approach

Dubit worked with Kingdom Scene to explore how to translate their vision and narrative into a destination site and app for kids. The result is the Lightgliders brand and game world of Christian faith and fun, which includes a virtual world and mobile app filled with mini games, story-based adventures, and weekly faith activities. Through close collaboration, Dubit inculcated Kingdom Scene’s vision and developed a brand universe for Lightgliders as well as an integrated cross-platform product that includes character creation, user-generated content, quests, safe chat, customization, exploration, mini games, and a reward system.

The Output

The Work

Lightgliders has adapted to changes in technology over the past few years, having started out as a Flash-based virtual world and metagame, and recently transitioning to a games and content platform in a native app. Lightgliders’ users pay a monthly subscription and have access to weekly themed content, backed up by fun games, activities and content to share with families and youth leaders.
