Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our elite design team to elevate the engagement and immersion of our gaming experiences.
  • Spearhead the creative direction and design oversight for a portfolio of projects within the Roblox and UEFN ecosystems.
  • Leverage a comprehensive understanding of game design principles to architect innovative game systems and mechanics that captivate players.
  • Author and curate detailed game design documentation to ensure clarity and coherence across development teams.
  • Employ exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively convey design visions and strategies to project teams and key stakeholders.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to meticulously balance and refine game mechanics, difficulty curves, and user interface flows, enhancing player satisfaction.
  • Provide mentorship to emerging talent within the team, offering constructive critiques and guidance to foster professional growth and excellence in design.
  • Champion the adoption of industry-leading design methodologies and practices to continually elevate the quality and impact of our projects.
  • Contribute to the project management process by assisting in the planning and estimation of development tasks, ensuring timely and efficient project progression.
  • Support business development efforts by actively participating in brainstorming sessions, bringing creative insights and ideas to aid the sales team in capturing new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • At least five years of professional experience in game design
  • Expertise in designing casual mobile games, focusing on monetization strategies and player retention
  • A collection of published games showcasing a consistent history of high-quality work
  • Proficient in using game development tools and software, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Strong understanding of player psychology and ability to design engaging user experiences
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
